Frankfort State Hospital

When we started our group for Eastern State we knew there would be interest in the other state hospitals in Kentucky. There will be a cemetery clean-up at there May 23rd in Frankfort.  This “hospital” was the designated facility for patients under the age of 18 for many years. Unfortunately as the years progressed the state decided to add adults to population with the children. Going through the sate issued death certificates, it obvious  that most were under 18 and it is likely a death certificate was issued most of the time.
